Qis Gungam Opus Walkthrough for My Time at Sandrock

Here\’s a guide to help you complete the Qi\’s Gungam Opus mission in My Time at Sandrock. In this mission, you\’ll be using the Strange Power Core you found in Paradise Lost to create a mechanical suit with the help of Qi, the best scientist in the game.

This is the next quest in a series of missions that involve rebuilding a damaged bridge. You\’ll learn how to use the Strange Power Core and construct the R-47 Mobile Suit.

Starting the Quest

To begin this quest, read the message from Qi that you\’ll receive the day after completing the Paradise Lost and Found mission. Qi will ask you to come to his research center as soon as possible.

Go to the Research Center

Head to the Research Center near Mi-an\’s Home and speak with Qi. He has found a way to help residents rebuild the bridge, but he needs your help. Qi will give you the Mobile Suit diagram and the Strange Power Core required to power the suit.

Construct the Mobile Suit

If you explored Paradise Lost thoroughly during the previous mission, you probably found a lot of useful materials that will be required for crafting the suit.

Approach the Assembly Station and select the Mobile Suit diagram. To craft it, you\’ll need:

1. Simple Circuits x3 – can be found in The Breach or by opening Tool Boxes at the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins.
2. Old Parts x5 – can be found in the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins or bought from the Eufaula Salvage Shop for 40 Gols/piece.
3. Rubber Shell x4 – can be crafted with the Processor using 16 Rubber in total (can be obtained by converting Rubber Scrap in the Recycler).
4. Steel Bar x4 – can be obtained by converting Iron Scraps in the Civil Recycler.
5. Strange Power Core x1 – you received it from Qi.

Once you have collected all the materials, complete the construction and add the Mobile Suit to your inventory.

Talk to Heidi

Now it\’s time to deliver the suit to Heidi. You\’ll find her during the day in the western part of the city, near the repaired bridge. Speak to her to complete the quest.

After finishing the quest, it\’s worth visiting Qi at the Research Center and speaking with him. You\’ll receive an additional 20 Relationship Points with him.
