What are Simulacra?

Simulacra is a mechanic that revolves around connecting characters to weapons. As you play Tower of Fantasy, you will collect different weapons that can be obtained through story missions or gacha pulls. More information about gacha pulls can be found on the Special Orders page of this guide. The most powerful weapons, with SR and SSR rarities, are linked to their owners, also known as Simulacra.

You can switch your character to one of your owned Simulacra by clicking the golden Activate button in the Simulacra menu. However, this is only a cosmetic change. The true power lies in the weapons themselves, which can still be used without transforming into their linked Simulacrum. You can view your Simulacra by pressing the Escape key and selecting their tab from the displayed menu.

Awakening

Awakening is a mechanic that allows you to \”befriend\” Simulacra by gifting them. You can purchase gifts from merchants around the world in exchange for gold. If you want to purchase better gifts, you can check out the Points Store by selecting Commissary from the menu in the upper-right corner of the screen (default key: Esc), then the Points Store tab. Giving gifts increases the Awakening progress of Simulacra. You can check the progress in the middle of the screen by selecting the character. You can unlock bonuses associated with the Simulacra by reaching certain points, such as more information about the characters. Reaching 1,200 points grants you a special trait that can be equipped in the Simulacra menu. Reaching 4,000 points enhances this trait even further.

To activate the trait, you must select the character in the Simulacra tab and move the slider under their portrait.

To give a gift, you must select the character you want to enhance your relationship with, enter the Gift tab, and choose a gift. Each Simulacra has its own preferences, so they\’ll like some gifts more than others. The game will inform you with a message above the gift list.
