The Main Purposes of Workbenches

  1. Workbenches become available during the Call the Cavalry main quest, which begins in Emma\’s Estate in Bel-Air. However, they will remain inactive until you complete the mission.
  2. Although each workbench serves the same function, it\’s still worthwhile to visit each one at least once. Some workbenches offer free blueprints that can be added to your collectibles collection. Additionally, the more blueprints you have, the more options you\’ll have available at workbenches. Blueprints can also be obtained and purchased.
  3. The primary function of workbenches is to upgrade and modify weapons. To accomplish this, you\’ll need a blueprint and specific crafting ingredients. You can also repair and level up weapons, though it can be quite expensive.
  4. Workbenches can also be used to craft consumables, such as ammunition and medical kits. However, you\’ll still need blueprints and crafting ingredients to do so.
  5. If there are any zombies nearby, the game may temporarily block your access to the workbench. You\’ll need to eliminate them to unlock it again.
