A guide to all the achievements and trophies available in Vampyr. The PC and Xbox One versions have 28 achievements, while the PS4 offers 29 trophies (including a platinum trophy). A Taste for Blood

Type: Silver

How to Unlock: Complete the game.

Commentary: This trophy is achieved by completing the main storyline in Vampyr. Side quests are not required.

Anarchy in the UK

Type: Silver

How to Unlock: Reach \”hostile\” status in one of the districts.

Commentary: To achieve this trophy, the \”health status\” bar of one of the four districts must drop below 50%. The best way to do this is by killing unique citizens of the district. Alternatively, not giving sick citizens medication and resting for a day can also lower the bar. Killing innocent civilians in any district will prevent the \”Not Even Once\” trophy, which is achieved by completing the game without killing civilians. Losing a district results in the death of all citizens, blocking side quests in that area. Backups of saves are recommended.

At Dawn We Row

Type: Bronze

How to Unlock: Go on a boat ride with Dr. Swansea.

Commentary: This trophy is automatically achieved during the first chapter of the game, after locating William Bishop and heading to the hospital.

Bloody Roots

Type: Gold

How to Unlock: Find Paulus Aurelianus\’ memories.

Analysis: To earn the complicated trophy, players must solve a puzzle in Vampyr, which unlocks access to a secret location under the church in West End. There, players can collect a unique sword. However, this trophy can only be unlocked during the sixth chapter and all the steps must be completed before the fight with The Disaster, which occurs in chapter 6 and restricts players from exploring the world.

During chapter 6, players meet Usher Talltree, who is near the church in West End. The first step is to complete Pandora\’s Box side quest given by Usher. Players must fulfill Usher\’s wish by not opening the found notebook and handing it over to him. In return, Usher gives a note with four symbols, which correspond to each pressure plate in the secret room. However, the symbols on the note are randomly generated, resulting in different puzzles for each player.

Players must find other notes scattered around the game world and look for a small dot above the document in their inventory. Only documents with small dots are related to this puzzle, and there are six of them out of 30 notes in the game. Each of the six \”special\” notes contains one of the symbols from Usher\’s note and one to six larger dots.

The solution to the puzzle is to find and memorize the symbols in the order starting from one dot and ending on a symbol with six dots. Players must stand on the pressure plates corresponding to the right symbols and press them in the correct order to unlock the secret area and collect the sword, earning the trophy.

Bury the Hatchet

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Defeat McCullum.

Commentary: McCullum is one of the bosses in Vampyr and can be defeated during the fifth chapter.

Death on Stage

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Defeat Doris.

Commentary: Doris is one of the bosses in Vampyr and can be defeated during the fourth chapter.

Defeat the Beast

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Defeat Fergal.

Commentary: Fergal is one of the bosses in Vampyr and can be defeated during the third chapter.

From Here to Eternity

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Go to a safehouse and rest.

Commentary: Players automatically unlock this trophy during Vampyr\’s prologue after finding the first room with a bed and resting on it.

Hail Mary

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: Defeat Mary.

Commentary: Mary is one of the bosses in Vampyr and must be defeated to earn this gold trophy.

The Hippocratic Oath trophy is a silver achievement that requires healing 10 citizens. Details on how to unlock this trophy are available on a separate page.

To earn the silver Interview with the Vampire trophy, players must decide the fate of Dorothy Crane during the game\’s second chapter. This trophy is impossible to miss, regardless of the player\’s choice.

The bronze Just Take a Bite trophy can be earned by killing Clay during the first meeting with him and sucking his blood. More information on this trophy is available on a separate page.

Players can unlock the silver Keep Your Distance trophy by finding all ranged weapons in the game. These weapons can be obtained by exploring the world, defeating enemies, or killing innocent characters. However, killing civilians will prevent players from earning the Not Even Once achievement. Players should try to obtain all ranged weapons during their second playthrough or by making a backup save.

The Londons Burning trophy is a gold achievement that requires players to have all districts in the game with \”hostile\” status. This is an extended version of the Anarchy in the UK trophy. Players should make a backup save before attempting to earn this trophy.

To earn the silver Lore Keeper trophy, players must find all 30 notes in the game. These notes are treated as secrets/collectibles and can be found throughout the world. Players should collect all notes before initiating the final battle with The Disaster.

The Merciful Release trophy can be earned by sparing Clay during the first meeting with him. More information on this trophy is available on a separate page.

The Not Even Once trophy is a gold achievement that requires players to complete the game without killing any of the innocents. More information on how to unlock this trophy is available in the Completion with everyone staying alive chapter.

1. To avoid negative consequences, do not drink the blood of unique NPCs, who can be found in the district screen accessible through the pause menu and whom Reid can speak with.
2. Hostile vampires and vampire hunters can be killed.
3. When choosing dialogue options, avoid those that lead to an NPC\’s death. Spare Clay Cox and Dorothy Crane, let Sean Hampton drink your blood, turn Aloysius Dawson into a vampire, don\’t kill McCullum, and heal Dr. Swansea with your blood.

Note: Avoiding killing important NPCs makes the game more challenging as it results in less XP, which is required for leveling up and unlocking new vampire abilities. Complete side quests and investigate as much as possible. Skill points should be used wisely to avoid wasting them on useless abilities.

Pest Control

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Consume 10 rats.

Commentary: Rats are easily found and can be detected with the sense mode. Approach a rat and press the appropriate button/key to drink its blood. Rats will not run away from Reid.

Prepare to Die

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Decide the fate of Aloysius Dawson.

Commentary: This trophy is tied to a meeting with Aloysius Dawson during chapter five of Vampyr. Any decision can be made.

Sacrificial Lamb

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Decide the fate of Sean Hampton.

Commentary: This trophy is tied to a meeting with Sean Hampton during chapter three of Vampyr. Any decision can be made.

Solid Metal Gear

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Upgrade a weapon to level 5.

Commentary: This is an extended version of the Work in Progress trophy. Upgrade your favorite weapon regularly. Upgrading to level 5 is possible during chapter four or five. Crafting materials can be obtained through exploration or purchased with gold from merchants.

That\’s Better

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Upgrade a weapon with a module.

Commentary: This is an extended version of the Work in Progress trophy. Both trophies can be obtained easily within the first few hours of gameplay. After upgrading a weapon at a workbench, one of two available modules must also be unlocked (requires additional crafting materials). The choice of module does not matter.

The Dying Swansea

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Decide the fate of Dr. Swansea.

Commentary: This trophy is tied to a meeting with Dr. Swansea during chapter six of Vampyr. Any decision can be made.

The Tools of the Profession

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Find all melee weapons.

Commentary: New melee weapons can be obtained through exploration, defeating certain enemies, or drinking the blood of certain innocent characters. The latter action may prevent obtaining the \”Not Even Once\” achievement, which requires completing the game without killing any civilians.

During your second playthrough or by creating a backup save, try to obtain all of the melee weapons. However, the backup save option is only available on PC and PS4. Keep in mind that free exploration is only possible before initiating the final battle with The Disaster boss in the sixth chapter. If you opt to use a backup save, eliminate all civilians carrying the missing weapons and then reload your previous save file once the trophy has been unlocked.

Time is On My Side

Type of Trophy: Platinum

Unlocking Method: Obtain all other trophies.

Commentary: This trophy is exclusive to the PlayStation 4 version of the game.

Unlife is Strange

Type of Trophy: Silver

Unlocking Method: Prevent the plant from withering.

Commentary: The plant can be found in Jonathan Reid\’s office on the first floor of Pembroke Hospital, as shown in the above picture. Interact with the plant, and your character will mention that it requires water. However, water cannot be obtained or purchased anywhere.

To water the plant, visit West End, which is the last district in Vampyr and becomes accessible during the fourth chapter. This means that you can obtain water in the second half of the game, so don\’t be concerned if you missed something earlier. Additionally, don\’t be concerned about the plant withering, as there is no \”permanent plant death\” option available.

Pure Water can be found in a building located north of the West End safehouse. Obtain the item and return to Pembroke Hospital to water the plant.

But wait, there\’s more – you must also wait for the plant to bloom once more. You can either return to the story and come back later, or if you want to obtain this trophy quickly, rest three times in a row. After the plant has bloomed, inspect it to obtain this trophy.

Unnatural Disaster

Type of Trophy: Gold

Unlocking Method: Defeat The Disaster.

Commentary: The Disaster is the final boss in Vampyr, and the battle occurs during the sixth chapter. Refer to the Bosses chapter in our guide to learn how to defeat this enemy.

Weapons of Choice

Type of Trophy: Silver

Unlocking Method: Locate all off-hand weapons.

Commentary: By thoroughly exploring the world, defeating particular enemies, or killing certain innocent characters (by drinking their blood), you can acquire new weapons. The latter can result in you being unable to obtain the \”Not Even Once\” achievement, which is awarded for completing the game without killing any civilians. Try to locate all off-hand weapons during your second playthrough or by creating a backup save. However, the backup save option is only available on PC and PS4. Keep in mind that free exploration is only possible before initiating the final battle with The Disaster boss in the sixth chapter.
