The Abyss

Upon entering the cave, proceed through the narrow corridor until you reach three diverging paths. Turn around and pick up the book.

After examining the book, turn around and follow the light.

Go right, pass through the rock opening, and you\’ll see platforms that need to be lowered above the stone hand. Ascend the stairs on the right.

Stand on the symbol on the ground and go back downstairs.

As you descend the stairs, turn right and continue forward until you reach another staircase. Go between the stairs to the bottom and stand on the second symbol.

Make sure to check the position of all the platforms once they\’re lowered. You must pass them in a mirrored fashion.

Go through the rock opening. When you return to the same area, you will notice that the platforms have disappeared, and the arrangement of all the elements is a mirror image of the same location.

Stand on the outermost point and walk towards the stone hand on invisible platforms. Go around the boulder on the right and walk towards the first cage.

Circle the cage from the left and go straight to the next one. Circle the second cage also from the left, turn right, and descend to ground level. Go through the door.

Approach the three stones before the door and activate Concentration Mode. Examine the footprints on the ground and look at the three symbols drawn on the stones.

In front of each moving blade, you\’ll find a stone with a symbol drawn. Now, Sherlock must die three times, killed by three different blades marked by the same symbols that you\’ve seen at the door. The order of passing through the blades doesn\’t matter. Once you complete this task, the door will open.

How to leave the cave?

  2. left hand,
  3. face,
  4. marks on the ribs.

On the table to the right of the altar, examine:

The left side of the table contains bottles, a fruit bowl, a book, and mushrooms. After examining the pitcher, dish on the right, and bowl on the left of the altar, head to the archives to learn more about the ingredients found in the cave. Pin the Transparent Liquid and choose Poisons for type, Liquid for consistency, and Odourless for fragrance. Pin the Unknown Decoction evidence and choose Jelly for consistency, Pungent for odor, and Dark for color. In the Mind Palace, select Snake Venom or dwale to sedate Arneson. Finally, take the two ingredients from the tables near the altar and interact with Arneson before leaving the cave to conclude Chapter 6.
