Introduction

To unlock the Eel Hunting case, you must first complete A Gilded Cage main quest.

Achievement: Catch of the Day

Beginning

The Eel Hunting case starts at the Cordon Chronicle Building in Scaladio\’s eastern part. Once you reach the building, talk to the receptionist. You can undertake this case while doing the A Gilded Cage quest, as you should have obtained the case file during that quest.

Warehouse No. 2

The next part of the case takes only a few minutes and getting a perfect score in this section will earn you the Catch of the Day achievement. To get a perfect score, you need to enter the right warehouse (there are three on the map) on your first attempt. Target Warehouse No. 2, located in the middle of Silverton.

There are a few men standing in front of the warehouse, but they won\’t stop you from entering. The doors are open, simply walk past them, and after a short loading screen, you\’ll find yourself inside.

Combat

In this section, you\’ll face 10 armed enemies. Remember that it\’s better to arrest than to kill. Your score and Jon\’s expression determine how well you did. For more information about Jon\’s relationship, visit Jon – does the relationship affect the ending? page in this guide.

After defeating the enemies, a fully armored opponent will appear. You can choose to arrest or kill him. The reward will be the same regardless of your actions, but keeping the enemy alive will affect your relationship with Jon.

If you accidentally kill the target and want to arrest him, you can reload your save.

Ending

Regardless of your actions, return to the receptionist at the Cordona Chronicle after finishing the case. After a brief conversation, you\’ll receive a new case – The Missing Shopkeeper.
