The Final Mission

Complete guide and walkthrough for GTA 5

To start this mission, you must first complete the game 100%.

Available to: Franklin

Location: The mission becomes available only after you have completed the game in its entirety. You can check your progress in the stats window. For detailed information on all the activities required for 100% completion of the game, refer to the \”GTA V – Game Guide\”.

The mission does not immediately become available after you achieve 100% game completion. You must be patient and engage in other activities until a question mark appears in the northwestern part of the map (near Mount Chiliad). Go there as Franklin to meet a hunter (as shown in the screenshot). He will tell you about a beast in the area.

Once you have listened to the hunter, head to the area marked with footprints to the northwest of the mission\’s starting point. Travel on foot, as using a vehicle will prevent you from completing the mission 100%.

Use a scoped sniper rifle to shoot the beast

Explore the marked area until you spot the beast. Follow it and use a scoped sniper rifle to shoot it at least three times, avoiding targeting the head and aiming at different parts of its body. Listen for the sounds it makes and use the red dots on your radar to track it.

Beware of wild animals

Be careful, as Franklin may encounter several wild animals along the way. Quickly take them out with a good assault rifle.

The mission ends when you shoot the man in disguise

The chase will end when you shoot the beast on the head (which is not easy) or at the cliff shown in the screenshot. Use any weapon to shoot the beast, and you will discover that it was a man in disguise. This marks the end of the mission.

No rewards are given for completing the mission, but to achieve 100% completion you must:

  • Wounded – Shoot the beast at least three times, avoiding the head.
  • Hunter – During the chase, kill at least four wild animals, including carnivores and elk.
  • Mr. Green – Complete the entire mission on foot.
