Ranged combat weapons

You can also engage in ranged combat using various rifles that deal elemental damage and impose statuses on enemies. Interestingly, some melee weapons like the Halberd can also attack with projectiles. However, Alchemical Capsules are required to use ranged weapons.

Special maneuver

Every type of weapon in Steelrising has a special move activated by pressing L2/LT/Q. Some moves allow you to perform an extra attack, while others allow parrying.

Enhancing weapons

You can upgrade weapons up to level 5. After gathering the required materials, visit Vestal or the carriage menu and go to the Weapons tab. Choose the weapon you want to upgrade and confirm your choice.

Materials can be obtained by defeating bosses, standard opponents in later stages of the game, from crates, or bought from Vestal or the carriage menu. Materials include Bronze Ingot, Cast Iron, Bismuth Block, and Orichalcum Ingot.
