Mordus\’ House

You can access Mordus\’ House during the \”Shadow Over Driftwood\” quest. In the basement, below his house, you will find a room with plates and a door that is locked with a magic lock. You must solve a puzzle, and you can check its solution by using the Spirit Vision ability (which you can obtain during the \”Powerful Awakening\” quest described in this guide).

The solution to the puzzle.

If you don\’t have this ability or don\’t know how to solve the puzzle, you can refer to the picture above, which shows you the solution. Place any of the items on the right plates (you can place nearby characters or urns). This will unlock the door, and you will be able to enter the room.

The Burning Chest

The chest\’s location on the map.

The Thrice-Bound Chest can be found in a cemetery south of the Stonegarden Graveyard checkpoint. First, use the Teleportation spell (or the item you obtain during \”The Teleporter\” quest) to take the chest out of the fire. After that, you can converse with the chest using a character from the Lizard race (such as The Red Prince) or use the Mask of the Shapeshifter to change any of your characters into a Lizard.

Fane is ideal for this quest because he can easily transform into a Lizard.

You can obtain the password to the chest in two ways:

  1. Attempt to convince the chest to reveal the password to you. You need a well-developed attribute, such as Wits or Intelligence. If you manage to persuade it, you will be able to open the chest.
  2. Return to Ryker\’s House (the yellow flag labeled Ryker\’s Rest on the map, which you can reach during the \”A Generous Offer\” quest) and speak with a salamander named Xiuh. Use a character with the Pet Pal talent and Scholar, but also make sure it is a Lizard – it can also be a character transformed into one using the Mask of the Shapeshifter. Ask Xiuh about the password. After that, you can go back to the chest and open it.

You now have access to the chest\’s treasures.

Combining Alchemic Ingredients at Meistr\’s

The alchemic ingredients can be found in a closet located in Meistr Siva\’s basement during the \”A Powerful Awakening\” quest. To perform the special ritual required to go back to the Hall of Echoes, you must find the right ingredients that are located in the closet next to a Source Fountain. The steps involved in performing the ritual are as follows:

  1. Use Obsidian Lancet to create a Blood Obsidian Lancet
  2. Combine the Blood Obsidian Lancet with Ritual Bowl and Blackroot in the crafting menu
  3. Place the mixture on grates and interact with the Incinerator Control Valve

The result of the ritual is the creation of a green hallucinogenic smoke cloud that enables access to the Hall of Echoes and grants the Spirit Vision ability. However, the ritual must be performed again to gain another ability from Sourcery school. To do so, another Blackroot must be found in Cloisterwood next to a teleportation shrine. Revisiting the Hall of Echoes grants the Source Vampirism ability.

Lighting up Torches near The Burning Prophet\’s Statue

To solve the puzzle near the entrance to The Wreckers Cave, all 5 torches near The Burning Prophet statue must be lit up at once. This can be done by using area spells like Fireball, Ignition or Supernova, or by spilling Oil under the torches and setting it on fire using Oil Flash item, Oil barrels or Fossil Strike ability. Once all torches are lit up, players can speak to the statue and claim their reward.

Unlocking the Door in Ryker\’s Private Chambers

Ryker\’s Private Chambers, located under his house during the \”A Generous Offer\” quest, contain a door that cannot be opened normally. To open the door, players must locate a hidden lever next to a mirror on one of the walls. This can be done by approaching the mirror with a character that has high Wits points (around 25 or higher) or by using Peace of Mind spell to increase the amount. Once the lever is pulled, players can enter the previously locked room where they can find the third Teleporter Pyramid in a chest in the corner.

Angel Statue with Missing Head

There are two statues located near the Stonegarden Graveyard checkpoint – the Curious Angelic Statue and the Broken Angelic Statue, which is missing its head. To proceed, you need to fix the Broken Angelic Statue. Head southwest from the statues to find the Head of Angelic Statue. Pick it up and return to the statues to interact with the Broken Angelic Statue. Choose the \”Attempt to repair the statue\” option and use the crafting menu to repair the statue by placing the head on it. Next, interact with the second angel and turn its back toward the tomb. This will open the entrance, where you can find a sarcophagus containing treasure.

Location of the statue\’s head.

Moving Wall in Driftwood Arena

A room in the Driftwood arena is located east of the teleportation shrine. There are plates located east and west of the shrine, marked in blue in the picture. Stand on both plates, or place heavy objects on them, to trigger the moving wall to open a path into the room.

Inside the room, you can find a chest and a skeleton to loot.

Reaching Bloodmoon Island through Deathfog

Bloodmoon Island is located in the north of Reaper\’s Coast, surrounded by Deathfog that kills anyone who enters it, except for Undead characters. Stand on the edge of the destroyed bridge and use Spirit Vision to reveal hidden platforms above. Use abilities like Phoenix Dive, Spread Your Wings, or Teleport to reach the other side.

A Trial for All Seasons

This puzzle is part of a quest called \”A Trial For All Seasons\”. In the location shown above, you will find four totems representing each season, and a campfire in the middle. Interact with the campfire to learn about the trial. To participate, activate all four totems. The campfire provides information on how to activate them. Perform the following actions to activate the totems:

  1. To take down the Winter totem, use Hail Strike or Winter Blast.
  2. Use Rain Blood or Flesh Sacrifice on the Spring totem.
  3. For the Summer totem, use Laser Ray.
  4. For the Autumn totem, use Rain, followed by either Laser Ray or Fireball, and lastly Electric Discharge.

After completing the above steps, you will initiate a conversation and then face four seasonal enemies. Upon defeating them, a chest will appear in the campfire where you can collect your reward.

Ancient Temple

During the quest \”A Generous Offer\”, you will reach an ancient temple at the end of which there is a force field blocking your progress. To solve this, start by conversing with the object in front of the force field. You can then search the skeleton next to the object to find a book that will help you solve the puzzle.

Next, activate the statues in the following order: Amadia, Tir-Cendelius, Duna, Zorl Stissa, Xantessa, Vrogir, and Rhalic. This will cause a new character, Eternal, to appear in the room. You must defeat it in battle.

Gated Crypt

In the Stonegarden Graveyard, you will find a crypt guarded by a hostile dog named Andras. Defeat him to access the Gated Crypt Lever. Inside, you will encounter petrified characters, including one named Qanna. Use Bless on her to start a conversation and battle. Upon defeating her, you can collect the Shadowed Tomb Key and a Ripped Page from her corpse. These items will be useful for entering the Shadowed Tomb.

Important note: If you want to access the treasure in the sarcophagus near Qanna, cast Fortify on your character before interacting with it to avoid petrification.

Shadowed Tomb / Johanna\’s Tomb

The Shadowed Tomb / Johanna\’s Tomb is located in the Stonegarden Graveyard and is accessible during the \”All in the Family\” quest. You will need either a key or a high thievery skill to enter – the key can be found in the Gated Crypt.

Once inside, your first task is to find two buttons located on the right and left of the door (as shown in the pictures above).

To proceed, place a strong character on the larger button and activate the three smaller buttons correctly.

In the following room, a sarcophagus can be found but should be ignored for now. Separate one character (preferably one with sturdy magic armor) from the group, open the southern door, and position that character on the larger button located in the middle of the next area. Then, select another character and cast Spirit Vision to reveal three buttons on the walls. Begin by pressing the middle button and repeating it until water appears in the second room. Next, do the same with the left button until lightning appears, and finish by pressing the button on the right side to create a Blessed Fire. Finally, gather the entire party and use the secret passage that will appear near the sarcophagus mentioned earlier.

Using Aerotheurge spells is highly effective against the earthen soldiers.

On the lower level, players may speak with the ghost of a woman, but the main objective is to remove the sword from the sarcophagus. Be cautious because a battle with earthen figures will commence when leaving the room after doing so.
