Missing Person

The Witcher 3 Walkthrough

The Short Mission

To begin this quest, read the note on the board in Brunwich village (M1,14). The halfling-herbalist near Oxenfurt will guide you to the place where his friend was last seen.

Following the Trail

Look for the cart of the herbalist at the destination. You will find it near the main road. Blood marks found there will lead you to Erde village. Examine the last track in front of the gate and talk to the only villagers there – the elder pair. They will try to deceive you by blaming the wolves for the disappearance. However, you can uncover the truth and learn that it is different. If you choose to report your findings to the quest giver, you will not receive any payment.

The Basement

Go to the back of the peasants\’ house and find a chest with rotting meat. Destroy it with the Aard sign to reveal the entrance to the basement. You will find the missing halfling\’s body there. Return to the elder pair to interrogate them and decide whether to spare or kill them. The quest giver will reward you with 200 crowns either way.
