Plasma Cutter #1 – Heat Accumulator

This upgrade can be purchased from the shop for 11,000 credits starting from Chapter 3.

Plasma Cutter #2 – Cartridge Rack

You can find this upgrade in the Ishimura Clinic room of the Medical Deck (visited in Chapter 2), right after detonating the bomb and destroying the barricade.

Plasma Cutter #3 – Weighted Blades

You can find this upgrade in the Maintenance Locker Room in Communication Hub, which is visited in Chapter 8. The locker room is a small room on the way to the Antenna.

Pulse Rifle #1 – Kinetic Autoloader

You can purchase this upgrade from the shop for 11,000 credits starting from Chapter 3.

Pulse Rifle #2 – PCSI Custom Magazine

This enhancement is located in the Electrical Systems Storage room on level 1 of the Bridge, which you will come across during Chapter 4.

The room is initially locked. To gain entry, search for a damaged shutter within the room, aim inside and use Kinesis to move the crates. This will reveal a door console which you need to destroy with a weapon. The room is now accessible, so enter and collect the upgrade.

Pulse Rifle #3 – High-Yield Grenades

You can find this upgrade in the locked Water Purification Storage room on level 5 of the Bridge during Chapter 4. The door requires the Master Security Override, which you obtain by completing the You Are Not Authorized side mission. Once you have the Override, return to the door and explore the storage to find the weapon upgrade in one of the lockers.

Ripper #1 – Angled Launcher

You can find this upgrade in B. Andonov\’s office (B. Andonov – Flow Supervisor) on the Hydroponics deck, a location visited in Chapter 6. The office is adjacent to the machines spraying the area, which you pass on your way to Wheezer 01.

Ripper #2 – Ricochet Tracer

You can purchase this upgrade for 11,000 credits at the shop. It will become available on the list after you find the Ripper weapon during Chapter 3.

Ripper #3 – Carbon-Fiber Blades

This upgrade can be found in the Machine Shop on level 4 of the Engineering Deck. During Chapter 3, the way to the upgrade is locked. The chest with the collectible requires a Master Override, so complete the You Are Not Authorized side mission and return to this place after obtaining clearance.

Flamethrower #1 – Gelified Hydrazine

You can purchase this upgrade for 11,000 credits at the shop. It will become available on the menu once you find the Flamethrower during Chapter 3.

Flamethrower #2 – High-Pressure Nozzle

The High-Pressure Nozzle schematic is located in the Crew Quarters during Chapter 10. You will need to restore electricity to the Deluxe Quarters, which involves finding the power cell in the Deluxe Quiet Bunks room and delivering it to the red slot. Once the power is restored, you can use the Circuit Breaker.

Head to the Deluxe Shift Bunks room where you will find a chest that requires a Master Security Override to open. Complete the You Are Not Authorized side mission and return to this area once you have the Override.

Flamethrower #3 – Macroliter Fuel Tank

Secret Type: weapon upgrade

The secret is in the Utility Room of the Mining Deck, a location visited in Chapter 7. The Utility Room is adjacent to the Equipment Maintenance Bay, but you can only access it after finding the S.O.S. Beacon.

Isaac can activate Zero Gravity mode on the return trip. Once in zero g, fly to the lower room that was passed earlier during the gondola ride. After landing on a small balcony, enter the room to find an upgrade.

Ionized Capacitor – Line Gun #1

This upgrade can be purchased for 11,000 credits at the shop. It will only appear on the list once you have found the Line Gun in Chapter 5.

Precision Lasers – Line Gun #2

This schematic can be found in a corridor on level 1 of Hydroponics, right next to Hydroponics Central Hub. To unlock the chest, you will need master security override, which can be obtained by completing the You Are Not Authorized side mission. After obtaining the clearance, return to the area.

Photon Energizer – Line Gun #3

The upgrade is located in the Lab Storage on the Medical Deck. You must have level 3 Security Clearance to access the room, which requires some backtracking. Once inside the storage, open the chest to find the upgrade.

Diffraction Module – Contact Beam #3

This upgrade is located in the Tools Storage room on level 6 of the Mining Deck. Use Kinesis to move the vertical containers blocking access to the door. There is a lock that requires the Master Security Override, which can be obtained by completing the You Are Not Authorized side mission. After unlocking the storage, open the chest to obtain the upgrade (the chest has the highest security lock).

Subsonic Oscillator – Force Gun #1

This upgrade can be purchased for 12,000 credits at the shop. It will only appear on the list once you have found the Force Gun in Chapter 6.
