Meet Professor Fig at the tower

In order to start this quest, your character must be at level 11. The San Bakar\’s Tower, your new destination, is located in the North Ford Bog region of the northern part of the map. To avoid being attacked by monsters along the way, it is recommended to use the Broom.

Investigate the goblin presence

There is a goblin camp in front of the tower, and it is recommended to approach it stealthily. A tutorial for stealth and stealth attacks will activate here. Maintaining stealth is a good idea, as it will allow you to eliminate some opponents without engaging in direct combat.

To start sneaking, use Disillusionment, but remember that it does not offer full invisibility. As you sneak up to your first opponent, you will receive the ability to cast Petrificus Totalus, which can instantly incapacitate standard opponents and severely weaken elite ones. Either clear the entire camp stealthily or engage in standard combat.

In one of the tents, there is a Goblin Note containing orders from Ranrok. A new group of goblins will arrive at the camp. Remember to use different spells to destroy different types of shields.

Search the tower

Approach the tower and wait for Professor Fig to unlock the door. Follow the stairs on the right and use the destroyed balconies to reach Percival Rackham\’s portrait. Listen to the conversation.

Find the Entrance to the first trial

Return to the ground floor of the tower and find the reservoir of Ancient Magic. Interact with it to reveal a secret passage. Follow it to reach the gate to The First Trial.

Complete Percival Rackham\’s trial

This trial involves completing a vast dungeon. Our walkthrough will cover all mandatory actions required to complete the Trial. However, there are optional side rooms in the dungeon and many chests containing loot.

The following steps will guide you through the dungeon. Firstly, continue along the path until you reach a hall with a missing bridge fragment. Descend the stairs and activate the nearby circle of Ancient Magic. Doing so will create a magic gate at the top, allowing you to proceed. Run up the stairs in the new hall and activate the other circle of Ancient Magic. This will create another magic gate. Run through the blue side of the gate to continue on your path. As you enter the new chamber, the statues will come to life and attack you. Among them, there is a stronger opponent – the Protector. Use Expelliarmus to snatch the statues\’ weapons and throw them back at them (Ancient Magic Throw Expertise talent required). Once all opponents are defeated, approach the levitating platform and bring it closer using Accio. Climb on it and use Accio again on a hitch located in front of you. After doing so, use Accio on the right hitch to bring yourself closer to new balconies. In the new area, interact with the circle of Ancient Magic to unlock another Magic Gate. Cross through the blue gate and then through the red gate. Jump on the levitating platform and use Accio on a new right hitch to reach a new part of the dungeon. Once there, defeat the animated statues and reach the remote balconies. Use Accio on the levitating platform to bring it closer and investigate the circle of Ancient Magic. Doing so will unlock a new magic gate found below. Run through the blue gate and return to the upper balconies. Jump over to the levitating platform and use Accio on the distant hitch to search the loot chest and jump down. Run through the red gate and return to the upper platform. Bring the levitating platform closer while standing on the central platform. Jump to the levitating platform and grab the hitch in front of you to reach the end of this location. Finally, use the stairs to reach a large hall with animated statues. Defeat all opponents and approach the circle of Ancient Magic to activate it.

To progress in the game, you need to use the Accio spell to bring the levitating platform closer and grab the hitch in front of you. This will take you closer to the balconies and the magic gate. Don\’t jump off the platform yet, instead turn left and use Accio on the left hitch. Line up with the magic gate, turn right, and grab onto the levitating platform on the other side. Keep using Accio on the new platform to grab the left and right hitch. Follow the stairs up to reach a large chest with Wiggenweld Potions inside. In the next area, cross the bridge to reach a large arena where you will face combat sequences and a boss encounter. The first obstacle is a group of smaller animated statues. Use Expelliarmus to grab enemies\’ weapons and dodge red attacks. Use Ancient Magic to weaken the boss and two red spells to deal more damage. Watch out for the boss\’s orb attack and use a spell of the same color to stop it. Deplete Pensieve Guardian\’s health bar to finish the fight.
