This is a walkthrough guide for the first heist in GTA 5. The heist serves as a tutorial mission with Lester providing the necessary information. You only need one other player to prepare for the mission. The heist is relatively easy to complete and is a source for quick but low income.

Scope Out

At the beginning of the preparations, drive to the Fleeca bank in the Western part of the map. One player drives while the other waits. On the way back, the other player must complete a simple mini-game to break security.

For the heist, two people are required. First, go together to get the armored getaway car from Lester. One player drives while the other makes a breach in bank security. Enter the bank and deal with the four cameras and the people. Drill a hole in the unlocked vault, and as soon as you hear the other player open the vault, run to the car and prepare to escape.

To use the drill effectively, you need to have a sense of it. It\’s not an easy task for a new player to feel the pressure and the number of revolutions required to complete the task quickly without overheating the drill. After drilling through each piece of metal, take a break and let the drill cool down. Attach it gently to the metal and apply some pressure at a steady rate of revolution initially. Increase the rate of revolution only after penetrating the metal layer.

Drive the car directly under the magnet and have the driver wait in the car. Then, escape along the highway while facing three roadblocks. A chopper is waiting a few meters ahead to lift the car. If you do not manage to drive under the magnet before the bridge ends, the mission will fail.
