Unlocking the quest – finding the Stone Tablet

To start the quest, you need to find a Stone Tablet. It doesn\’t matter which one you find. We have marked the locations of all three Tablets on the map above. There\’s a good chance you\’ve already dredged one out accidentally while exploring Devil\’s Spine, in which case the quest should already be active.

Be careful of the monsters in Devil\’s Spine. Drive them away with Banish. Try to maneuver between the ruins carefully to avoid damaging your ship and losing the acquired Tablets.

#1 Stone Tablet

2. Requirements: none

You\’ll find this Stone Tablet in the ruins by the southern island in Devil\’s Spine.

Dredge there and complete the minigame to get it.

#2 Stone Tablet

2. Requirements: none

The second Tablet is located in the ruins by Devil\’s Spine\’s largest island. Weave carefully through the rubble to avoid damaging the ship.

Dredge there to get the second Stone Tablet.

#3 Stone Tablet

1. Location: Devil\’s Spine, sector O15
2. Required Item: Packet Explosives

The last Tablet can be found near the two northernmost islands.

To reach the dredging spot, you must first blow up the Debris blocking your way. Make sure you have some Packet Explosives with you.

Talking to the Trader in Little Marrow

Head to Little Marrow in The Marrows. By this point in the game, you should already have access to Manifest. Use it to fast travel to Blackstone Isle. You should reach the Trader much quicker from there.

Show him the Tablets. He\’ll tell you they\’re parts of a larger whole.

After a while, the Trader will give you a Fused Tablet and suggest it must have some significant use. Move the Tablet to your cargo hold.

How to Use the Fused Tablet at the Ancient Lighthouse

To begin, head to the northernmost dock in the Devil\’s Spine, where you\’ll find the entrance to the Ancient Ruins. Once there, make your way to the Ancient Lighthouse.

Approach the door and the game will prompt you to insert an item. Take the Fused Tablet from your cargo hold and move it to the window on the left-hand side of the screen.

The door will open, revealing your reward:

1. The Flame of the Sky, the best light in the game, which you can install on your ship. It takes up 3×1 slots in your cargo hold and has a reach of 3,500lm.
2. Four trinkets.

With the quest completed, you can now sell the loot to the Trader and free up some space in your cargo hold and storage.
