Whole Again

How to Unlock: Follow Nicole\’s investigation.

Trophy Type: Silver

Commentary: To unlock this achievement, you must complete the Scientific Methods side mission with 100% accuracy, which can be initiated in chapter 2. Our walkthrough has a detailed explanation of this.

Set a Benchmark

How to Unlock: Finish the game on Medium difficulty or higher.

Trophy Type: Silver

Commentary: We recommend that you play on normal difficulty for your first playthrough to unlock most of the trophies. Do not lower the difficulty level in the options or you may lose the chance to unlock this achievement.

Untouchable

How to Unlock: Complete the game on Impossible Mode.

Trophy Type: Gold

Commentary: The Impossible level is the highest difficulty level, and Isaac\’s death means the end of the game. You can \”cheat\” by pausing the game when Isaac is close to death. This will allow you to load your last save and try again. The Impossible level cannot be selected for New Game Plus. Learn the game well, especially the locations of traps and elite Necromorphs.

Trusted Contractor

How to Unlock: Complete New Game Plus on any difficulty level.

Trophy Type: Silver

Commentary: We have described New Game Plus in detail on a different page of the guide. Try to meet the requirements for unlocking the alternate ending (finding 12 Marker Fragments) to get the Reunion trophy as well.

Full Arsenal

How to Unlock: Acquire every weapon in the game.

Trophy Type: Bronze

Commentary: There are 7 weapons to obtain, with the Force Gun being the last one, which can be found in chapter 6. Our walkthrough has the locations of the weapons.

Built to Order

How to Unlock: Install every weapon upgrade.

Trophy Type: Silver

Commentary: Weapon upgrades are secrets, and there are 21 upgrades to unlock (3 for each weapon). Most of the upgrades can be found in the game world, while some can be bought from the shop. Return to any bench to install the upgrade by unlocking the option to purchase it on the weapon development tree. Check the weapon trees to see what upgrades are still needed.

Autofire

How to Unlock: Kill 30 enemies with the Pulse Rifle.

Trophy Type: Bronze

Comment: These achievements require the use of different weapons. You should keep the weapons in your inventory after obtaining them to find ammo and use them frequently.

Live with the Hot Ones

To unlock this achievement, you need to kill 30 enemies with the Flamethrower.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: The Flamethrower is ideal for killing small monsters.

A Cut Above

To unlock this achievement, you need to kill 30 enemies with the Ripper.

Trophy type: bronze

Pusher

To unlock this achievement, you need to kill 30 enemies with the Force Gun.

Trophy type: bronze

Eviscerator

To unlock this achievement, you need to kill 30 enemies with the Line Gun.

Trophy type: bronze

Full Contact

To unlock this achievement, you need to kill 30 enemies with the Contact Beam.

Trophy type: bronze

One Gun

To unlock this achievement, you must beat the game using only the Plasma Cutter.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: Melee, stasis, and kinesis attacks are allowed, but other firearms cannot be used.

Pack Rat

To unlock this achievement, you need to place 25 items in Storage.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: It\’s best to move unnecessary items to the storage instead of selling them.

Story Teller

To unlock this achievement, you need to collect 75 Logs.

Trophy type: bronze

Legend Teller

To unlock this achievement, you need to collect 150 Logs.

Trophy type: bronze

Remark: These two trophies are related to unlocking text, audio, and video logs, which are classified as secrets and placed in the Database. There are almost 190 logs available in the game, but you only need to collect 150 of them.

  1. You don\’t need to unlock 100% of the logs.
  2. Many logs are unlocked automatically, such as when you start a conversation with another character. Therefore, there are actually fewer logs to find than 150.

The locations of the logs are included in the Secrets and Collectibles chapter.

Merchant

How to unlock: Collect all Schematics.

Trophy type: bronze

Remark: Schematics are one of the game\’s secrets. Each schematic found allows you to purchase something new in the shop. There are 13 schematics in the game, but you do not need to find the one hidden in chapter 9 on board the USM Valor since you cannot return to Valor later in the campaign.

Marksman

How to unlock: Dismember 50 Limbs.

Trophy type: bronze

Remark: You should get this trophy during the normal playthrough of the game. Always aim at the limbs of the Necromorphs instead of the head or chest.

Surgeon

How to unlock: Dismember 500 Limbs.

Trophy type: bronze

Remark: This is a more time-consuming variation of the previous achievement, but you should still get the trophy long before the end of the game.

Wishbone

How to unlock: Rip off a dangling limb using Kinesis.

Trophy type: bronze

Remark: To get this trophy, weaken the Necromorph\’s limb with attacks, but don\’t cut it off yet. Then aim at that limb and use kinesis (Circle/B while aiming). The achievement will unlock if Isaac manages to tear it off with kinesis.

Raise the Stakes

How to unlock: Pin an enemy.

Trophy type: bronze

Remark: You can try to get this trophy from chapter 2 onward – you will unlock kinesis at the beginning of this stage.

In areas with monsters, search for rods that can be grabbed with kinesis – they are the best object for quickly killing a Necromorph.

Aim at a monster standing next to a wall or other vertical surface. Throw the rod and it should pin the Necromorph to the wall and kill it (if it wasn\’t an elite monster). This should unlock the achievement.

Freeze

How to unlock: Use Stasis on 50 enemies.

Trophy type: bronze

Remark: This is a simple trophy, but remember to use stasis often to slow down at least 1-2 Necromorphs in each battle. This is especially recommended if there is a stasis station nearby, thanks to which you can refill it for free.

Backbreaker

How to unlock: Kill 10 enemies with a stomp attack.

Trophy type: bronze

Remark: The difficulty with this achievement is that stomping on severely weakened large Necromorphs does not count.

To progress in the game, players must stomp on smaller monsters like tentacles or spiders that can jump on Isaac. It is important to press the stomping button quickly to avoid being attacked.

Maxed Out

To unlock this achievement, players must fully upgrade all weapons and equipment. However, it is not possible to do this in one playthrough as there are not enough nodes to purchase all items. Players must transfer their progress to New Game Plus and follow these tips:

  1. Collect nodes through exploration, as they are free. Visit the same locations in both playthroughs to get the same nodes twice.
  2. Do not spend credits on unnecessary purchases like ammo. Spend them on nodes instead, each of which costs 10,000 credits.
  3. Make sure to get all weapon upgrades to achieve 100% of purchased upgrades.

Front Toward Enemy

Survive the Shooting Gallery to unlock this trophy. The gallery is located on board the USM Valor in chapter 9 and cannot be returned to later in the game. Collect supplies and activate the terminal, but do not waste ammo on shooting targets. Wait for Necromorphs to spawn and defeat them all to unlock the achievement.

Z-Baller

Complete Level 6 in Zero-G Basketball to unlock this trophy. The Zero-G Gym is located on level 4 in the Crew Quarters. Examine the terminal to start the mini-game and quickly fly to the platform closer to the hoops to make scoring easier. Grab balls with kinesis and throw them into the hoops, aiming for the glowing ones to score double points. Score 220 points before time runs out to unlock the achievement.

There\’s Always Peng!

Find the Peng Treasure to unlock this trophy.

Players must search for the Peng Treasure to unlock this bronze trophy.

Commentary: The Peng statue is a unique collectible that comes with the trophy. It can be easily obtained in chapter 11, and you can find instructions on how to get it on the Peng Treasure page.

Full Clearance

How to unlock: Create the Master Security Override.

Trophy type: Silver

Commentary: To unlock this trophy, you need to complete the side mission You Are Not Authorized, which begins in chapter 4. You must find all of the RIGs belonging to Ishimura\’s crew members, which we have detailed in our walkthrough. Doing so will reward you with the Master Override.

Brute Force

How to unlock: Kill a Brute.

Trophy type: Bronze

Commentary: This trophy is one of several related to defeating bosses in the game. You will encounter the Brute for the first time in chapter 4, and we have covered the fight with it in the Bosses chapter.

Exterminator

How to unlock: Kill the Leviathan.

Trophy type: Bronze

Commentary: This trophy is another boss-related one. The Leviathan is a monster from chapter 6, and we have described the fight with it in the Bosses chapter.

Get Off My Ship!

How to unlock: Kill the Leviathan Remnant.

Trophy type: Bronze

Commentary: This trophy is also related to defeating bosses. The Leviathan Remnant is a monster from chapter 8, and we have covered the fight against it in the Bosses chapter.

Mindless Prey

How to unlock: Kill the Hive Mind.

Trophy type: Bronze

Commentary: This trophy is another boss-related one. The Hive Mind is the final boss in chapter 12, and we have detailed the fight with it in the Bosses chapter.

Marked

How to unlock: Pick up a Marker fragment for the first time.

Trophy type: Bronze

Commentary: Fragments are unique collectibles that can be found only in the New Game Plus mode during your next playthrough.

Reunion

How to unlock: See the alternative ending on any difficulty mode.

Trophy type: Silver

Commentary: This trophy is a continuation of the Marked trophy. You must find all 12 Fragments, whose locations are listed on the Marker Fragments page, and then visit Captain Mathius\’ cabin in the Crew Quarters. There, you must place the fragments on the table (as shown in the picture) and complete the game a second time. After defeating the final boss, you will see the alternate ending.
