The Axe

Kjotve the Cruel – The Axe is the first member of the Order that you must defeat during the game. This happens before the Hidden Ones inform you about the Order of the Ancients. You will face Kjotve the Cruel during the A Cruel Destiny quest in Norway.

The reward for defeating Kjotve is the Raven Clan Helmet.

The Scabbard

The identity of The Scabbard will be revealed automatically when you build a Hidden Ones Bureau in the settlement. You will learn about the activities of the Order of the Ancients in Anglia from Hytham.

Leofgifu – The Scabbard is located at the Saxon military camp Utbech in the Grantebridgescire region. You can attack the camp solo or as part of a raid with your ship\’s crew. Killing Leofgifu is sufficient.

The Baldric

The identity of The Baldric will also be revealed when you build a Hidden Ones Bureau in the settlement and learn about the Order\’s activities in Anglia.

Hunta, son of Hunta – The Baldric can be found at the marketplace in Ledecestre in the Ledecestrescire region. It is a public place, but you can use your hood to delay detection. You can also blend in with the crowd or distract the guards with a drunkard. You can kill Hunta with a predator bow or with a hidden blade assassination.

The Leech

Sister Frideswid – The Leech is a member of the Order that you will defeat during the storyline associated with the Lunden region. You can attack the temple / forum where she conducts her experiments or sneak in and eliminate Frideswid with a hidden blade assassination.

The Arrow

Avgos Spearhand, also known as The Arrow, is a member of the Order that Eivor must defeat during the storyline of the Lunden region. Eivor successfully identifies and eliminates The Arrow in the main quest Firing the Arrow. Regardless of whether you win or lose the shooting tournament, you can find The Arrow, who is actually Avgos Spearhand, in the square where he will speak. You can use a bow to shoot him, but you will have to approach his corpse in any case.

Killing The Arrow will reward you with the unique Bullseye Predator Bow.

The Compass

Vicelin, also known as The Compass, is another member of the Order that Eivor must defeat during the storyline of the Lunden region. Eivor successfully identifies and kills The Compass in the main quest Smashing the Compass. You can find Vicelin on board a boat moored in the harbor of the attacked Lunden, which you can reach by fighting or sneaking around and avoiding other enemy boats. The battle with The Compass is not a very challenging mini-boss fight.

Maegester – The Keel

Maegester Kil is actually Gorm Kjotvesson, the son of Kjotve the Cruel who was murdered at the beginning of the game. Gorm is killed during the expedition to Vinland, as described in our walkthrough.

Gorm Kjotvesson can be found at Narfljot Camp, located in the northwestern corner of Vinland. It is recommended to complete as many side activities as possible in Vinland to obtain the necessary gear, such as weapons, bows, and armor.

You can either openly attack Gorm\’s camp or sneak into it, preferably through the cave below the camp. If you choose to sneak, you can kill Gorm with a hidden blade. However, note that Gorm is an elite opponent and you must have the Advanced Assassination skill and pass a QTE to successfully assassinate him by sticking a hidden blade in his neck.
