List of hidden items

The Deeper Caves contain 8 hidden items:

1. Hank\’s Notes x1
2. The Deeper Caves x1
3. Matchbooks x6

Searching for Salim in the caves

As soon as you start the chapter, crouch and squeeze through the narrow caves. Light your way with a match and follow the rocks on the left – you will find the matchbook shown in the picture.

You will come across a portal (rift) and a brazier. Before using the amulet, check the basket on the right. Remove the cover to find a matchbook.

Go through the portal and follow the left walls again. You will come across the box shown in the picture – it contains a matchbook.

While making your way through the caves, stop at the place where you can light 2 torches. After using the match on the torches, examine the hole in the right wall marked in the picture to find more matches.

Continue on your path and you will reach another 2 torches. After lighting them, do not use the narrow passage above the chasm right away. First, examine the container on the right. There are more matches in it.

Proceed with caution over the precipice and keep going. When you reach the first ladder, do not use it immediately. Check the area to the left of the ladder to find the chest with the secret shown in the picture – Hank\’s Notes: Salim Hannachi.

Now you can descend the first ladder. Follow the main path until you reach the second ladder – remember to check the area first. You will find the chest shown in the picture above – it contains matches.

Use the second ladder. In the new section of the caves, collect the monkey you will find on your way. Squeeze between the rocks and watch the cut-scene. On the corpse, you will find:

1. Upon completion, a lantern will be added to your inventory permanently.
2. Salim\’s Final Note from The Deeper Caves is hidden beneath the lamp.

The Great Cave Escape

Your next task is to escape the collapsing cave. Keep the lantern equipped to guide your way by clicking the lantern button or selecting it from your inventory. Run as fast as you can and don\’t stop!

The heroine will be plunged into darkness, but don\’t panic. You can use a match, and soon a new light source will appear to guide you back to the surface.
