A-maze-ing Victory!

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Defeat a Minotaur

Commentary: The Minotaur battle takes place during a side quest on Messara.

A Pirate\’s Life for Me

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Complete Xenia\’s storyline.

Commentary: Xenia is the leader of the pirates residing on Keos. Encounter her during the fifth chapter (episode) – Island of Misfortune main quest. Complete the treasure maps quests to unlock this trophy.

An Odyssey in the Making

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Complete the first chapter.

Commentary: This trophy is unlocked automatically upon completion of the main story quests.

Aphrodite\’s Embrace

Type of achievement: brown

How to obtain: Sleep with another character

Comments: This achievement involves romancing in the game. You must conduct a romance in such a way that you spend a night with another character. Check out the Romances chapter in this guide to see the list of potential candidates. In the early stages of the game, you can seduce Odessa by saving her in Kephallonia and completing her quests while visiting Megaris. The romance option with Odessa is available regardless of the main protagonist\’s gender.

Are You Not Entertained?

Type of achievement: silver

How to obtain: Become the Champion of the Arena.

Notes: The Arena is located on Pephka Island, in the southwest part of the map. You can obtain an invitation by killing a mercenary or by unlocking the \”They Just Want Cruelty\” side quest. The most reasonable way to approach the Arena fights is to arrive at level 50 – that\’s also the level of the last boss there. Fighting in the Arena is further explained in the How to get to Arena? chapter in this guide.

Note – Defeat all other enemies before facing the Arena\’s most powerful warrior (the one with level 50). Killing the weaker warriors is mandatory for this achievement.

Birthright

Type of achievement: brown

How to obtain: Find Atlantis and talk to Pythagoras

Comments: Visiting Atlantis is associated with the \”A Family\’s Legacy\” quest commissioned by Myrrine in the seventh chapter (episode) of the game. As part of this task, you must:

  1. Visit Thera island (picture 1).
  2. Solve the mirror riddle on the island (check our walkthrough).
  3. Examine the underground structure. The meeting with Pythagoras takes place in the last big hall (picture 2) and he commissions the \”The Gates of Atlantis\” quest from you to find artifacts of the First Civilization (searching for artifacts is no longer required for the purpose of this achievement).

Blood Sport

Type of achievement: brown

How to obtain: Defeat a mercenary in the Arena.

Notes: Information about finding the Arena can be found in the description of the \”Are You Not Entertained?\” achievement, as well as in the How to get to Arena chapter in this guide. After meeting Skoura, who is the master of ceremony in the Arena, you will be able to choose the penultimate option from the list – a fight with a mercenary (the mercenary\’s identity is random and can differ from the one presented in picture 1).

The selected mercenary should be on the same level as your character. This means that the difficulty depends on your equipment and its quality.

Child of Poseidon

Type of achievement: silver

How to obtain: Complete all underwater locations.

Assassin\’s Creed Odyssey Trophies Guide

Underwater Explorer

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Explore all 42 underwater locations.

Commentary: The game features 42 underwater locations and the exploration of those locations shouldn\’t cause you any problems. Send the eagle before you dive – the animal will help you locate treasures and other secrets found in a particular underwater location. After that you simply have to swim towards them (watch out for sharks and limited air!).

Demigod

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Reach level 50.

Comment: Each activity in the game is awarded experience points. The most XP can be achieved by completing quests and objectives in major locations (e.g. forts). See our leveling guide: How to get XP fast?

Democracy Falls

Comment: This trophy is unlocked automatically when completing the main storyline.

Epic Cycle

Fashion\’s Creed

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Wear a set of legendary armor pieces.

Comment: Gold armor elements acquired throughout the game can come from different sets. This trophy is quite time-consuming and it requires you to collect gold items. Eventually, you have to acquire and wear (put them in 5 slots for different armor pieces) elements coming from the same legendary set. More details about this achievement/trophy can be found on one of the pages in our trophy guide.

From the Ashes

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete chapter 5.

Comment: This trophy is unlocked automatically when completing the main storyline.

Godly Power

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Unlock Tier 3 Active Ability.

Comment: Each active ability (e.g. Bull Rush from the example above) has 3 tiers. Each tier makes the ability more powerful. Upon unlocking tier 1 you can familiarize yourself with the requirements to unlock tier 2. The game does not allow you to unlock higher tiers in the early stages of the game. The game will let you advance chosen skills to the second level after you upgrade Leonidas\’ spear for the first time (as part of the main quest). In order to reach level 3, the spear has to be upgraded to level 5. More about that in the section called Legacy Restored.

Going for Gold

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Complete Olympic storyline.

Analysis: In order to complete Olympic-related quests, you need to progress to the seventh chapter and play through the main storyline where your character will participate in the games. These quests can be found in the Elis region.

More Challenging, Improved, Efficient, Robust

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Purchase the first upgrade for your ship, the Adrestia.

Comment: The Adrestia is a ship that you will gain control of after completing some initial main quests. To earn this trophy, you need to purchase any one of the ship\’s upgrades. An example of an upgrade is the Arrow Volleys upgrade, which requires 105 oil wood, 60 soft pelts, and 1090 gold to reach tier 2.

Friend of Hermes

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Discover all subregions in Greece.

Notes: This achievement is time-consuming but not overly complicated. You must unlock all regions on the world map, which include smaller fragments that must be visited for the game to consider them discovered. However, exploring all the question marks on the world map is not necessary to earn this trophy.

Mercenary for Hire

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Win your first Conquest Battle in any region except Megaris.

Comment: A detailed explanation of how to unlock this trophy can be found in a separate section of this guide.

Becoming Legendary

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Equip your character with one legendary melee weapon and five legendary pieces of armor.

Comment: To acquire a legendary melee weapon, complete the main storyline to acquire Nikolaos\’ sword, which is an example of such a weapon. To obtain five legendary armor pieces, complete quests, Conquest Battles, and eliminate cultists to earn more gold items. Once you have one gold piece of armor for each category, equip them to earn the trophy. An example of a golden armor set is shown in the picture, and the horse\’s \”outfit\” may vary in color.

Unleashing Power

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Use Overpower attacks with all available weapon types.

Comment: Overpower attacks become available after unlocking the Overpower Attack ability, which can be done at level 16. To execute an Overpower attack, fill at least three portions of the adrenaline bar and perform the attack for each weapon category, such as sword, dagger, and spear, to earn the trophy.

Defeating Medusa

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Defeat Medusa during a side quest on Lesbos island.

Comment: One of the side quests on Lesbos island involves fighting Medusa in order to earn this trophy.

Notorious

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Reach the maximum bounty level.

Comment: This trophy is earned by committing crimes and filling up the red bar in the bottom right part of the screen, which represents the punishment system for these actions. You must fill up the entire bar to earn this trophy.

The quickest way to earn this achievement is by entering one of the larger cities in the game and eliminating every enemy you come across. Although this method may seem extreme, it will fill up the achievement bar rapidly. As the bar fills, the main character will face increasingly difficult headhunters. By using this method, you should be able to meet the level requirements before the hunters catch up to you. If you are unable to avoid them, killing a mercenary will not contribute towards the achievement.

Island Hopper

Award type: gold

How to unlock: Complete 20 quests on Pephka, Obsidian, and Abantis Islands.

Notes: To unlock this trophy, visit these locations and complete main quests, side quests, or check the notification boards.

Lord of the Seas

Award type: silver

How to unlock: Fully upgrade Adestria.

One Head Down…

Comment: For more information on eliminating Cultists of Kosmos, refer to the description of The Cult Unmasked trophy. To unlock this trophy, you only need to kill the characters representing a given branch of the cultists\’ tree. An example of such a branch is shown in picture 1, with seven different alternatives available. First, eliminate five \”lesser\” Cultists to unlock the option to learn the Sage\’s identity. Then track and kill this person to unlock the trophy/achievement (picture 2).

Award type: brown

How to unlock: Complete chapter 2.

Comment: This trophy is earned upon completion of the main storyline.

Commentary: Epic Ship encounters are rare. One of the ships is led by Asterion, one of the Cultists of Kosmos. His vessel can be found in the location shown in the image, south of Abantis Islands and north of Andros.

Before approaching an Epic Ship, ensure that you have a high level and consider investing in ship upgrades with gold and resources. This will increase your odds of success. You may also save your game or reduce the difficulty level before commencing the battle.

Note: An Epic Ship may have smaller units accompanying it. Decide whether to deal with them first or ignore them and focus on sinking the main vessel.

Shiny!

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Obtain your first legendary item and equip it to your character.

Comment: This trophy is easily earned by advancing in the main storyline. In the second chapter, you\’ll encounter Nikolaos, who will gift you Nikolaos\’s Sword, a legendary gold item. Equip it as your active melee weapon to unlock the trophy.

Stink Eye

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Retrieve the Eye of the Cyclops from the goat on Kephallonia.

The Argonauts

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Only recruit elite, legendary lieutenants to Adrestia\’s crew.

Comment: Refer to the instructions for the You Work for Me Now trophy to learn how to \”recruit\” legendary lieutenants. Gold NPCs include fort commanders and mercenaries (use Ikaros to scout them out). To recruit an opponent, weaken them as much as possible, then stun them with Sparta Kick.

Initially, only one lieutenant slot is available. More can be unlocked by upgrading your ship\’s hull. Eventually, all four slots must be filled with legendary lieutenants (as shown in the screenshot).

The Bright Minds

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete chapter 4.

Comment: This trophy is earned upon completion of the main storyline.

The Cult Exposed

This will add a new tab to your pause menu, allowing you to identify and locate other cultists. More information on this is available in the Kosmos Cultists chapter of this guide.

The Golden Touch

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Apply a legendary engraving to a legendary weapon.

Comment: To achieve this, you must obtain a legendary weapon and unlock any of the legendary (gold) engravings. You can obtain legendary weapons as loot, from completing quests, or by killing members of the Cult of Kosmos. Once you have two legendary weapons, engrave the second weapon with the engraving from the first weapon as shown in the screenshot above.

Sparring with Spartan Youth

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete the prologue, which includes the Battle of 300.

Comment: This trophy is automatically unlocked upon completing the prologue.

Master of War

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Defeat a region\’s commander with limited resources, except for Megaris.

Notes: You can only obtain this trophy after completing the tutorial and reaching Fokida. To achieve this, weaken a region by killing soldiers, destroying supply crates, stealing from chests, etc. Once the region is weakened, go to the identified leader and eliminate them. Weakening the region often leads to the leader losing guards or leaving their hiding place. It is recommended to weaken a smaller region like Keos, which only has two locations that affect Nation Power.

Amazon\’s Wrath

Trophy type: brown
